The Mediterranean Center for Arts and Sciences is a dedicated Study Abroad Institute located in a completely restored 17th century palazzo in the historical center of the ancient Sicilian city of Syracuse, steps away from the Mediterranean Sea.

MCAS offers a range of liberal arts classes every semester which enable students to explore the diversity of the Mediterranean World from a unique perspective. Field excursions are an integral part of classes at MCAS, making use of the school’s rich surroundings and Sicily’s grand past.

MCAS offers two full semesters (January to April and September to December), two Summer Sessions (May to June and June to July), and a three week intersession program in January.
