Scholarships: Study Abroad Italy Scholarships

Study Abroad Italy is pleased to offer scholarships each academic year for semester students. These scholarships are open to all Study Abroad Italy participants who meet the eligibility requirements.

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Already be accepted into a SAI program
  • Adhere to the SAI Code of Conduct; SAI reserves the right to revoke a scholarship if the recipient fails to adhere to the SAI Code of Conduct.
  • Submit the following materials:

All students submitting scholarship applications are considered for all scholarships that apply to their enrollment and therefore do not have to specify a particular scholarship. Applications meeting the scholarship criteria and program requirements are reviewed by an independent selection committee.

Scholarship application deadlines


Fall Semester programs:  June 1st

Spring Semester programs:  October 15th



Florence University of the Arts
One Full Semester Tuition Scholarship
One 50% Semester Tuition Scholarship
(representing a portion of the Program Cost)
  Study Abroad Italy and Florence University of the Arts offer these need and merit based scholarships in both Fall and Spring Semesters.
John Cabot University
One Full Semester Tuition Scholarship
  These need and merit based scholarships are offered in both Fall and Spring Semesters.
Apicius International School of Hospitality (AISH)
Two $1000 Tuition Scholarships
  SAI and Apicius together offer this need and merit based scholarship in both Fall and Spring Semesters.
 
The scholarships listed below are offered to students attending any SAI program:
Religious Studies Scholarship
$500 Religious Studies Scholarship. Available annually to a semester student enrolled in at least one Religious Studies course at any of our schools.
Chiara Scholarships
$6,000 Scholarship; offered both Fall and Spring semesters. The recipient will receive $6,000, applied towards Program Cost.
Summit State Bank Scholarship
Summit State Bank of California generously provides a Fall semester scholarship of $2,500.Student must be a resident of Northern California to qualify.
 
At this time the Mediterranean Center, NABA and Domus Academy students are eligible only for the Chiara and Summit State Bank Scholarships.
